I was the lead graphic designer for Adroit Theory Brewing Company at its inception.
Adroit Theory is legendary in the craft world—not just for the high-ABV stouts, but for having some of the most aggressive, high-concept visual branding in the industry. The "Consume Life Drink Art" aesthetic and the dark, intricate storytelling on those labels really set a high bar. It’s the kind of work where the packaging is as much of a draw as what’s inside the can. Managing that level of detail while maintaining a cohesive brand identity across so many experimental releases is no small feat.

After the excellent work with our original Company (Manor Works) Shawn was selected to do a variety of projects, including developing the corporate identity of the new brewery. This included modifying the original design drafts for two logos, two brand new logos, two original artwork designs, as well as numerous other projects. Future projects include vehicle wraps, billboards, website layout, and other collateral. Unlike his work at Manor Works where the corporate identity had been established for over 10 years, Adroit Theory is a startup, and as such, the work is more creative by nature. Shawn has created some truly unique art that both reflects and encompasses the culture of the new entity.
